Dear Nick-
When
we set out to add an addition to our growing family, we considered OCP for a couple reasons. We first had heard about you
from a friend about a year before we actually talked on the phone. The
same friend had spoken to one of your partners about the pups, and he
spoke very highly of OCP... He was treated with respect even after he
stated he wasn't going to get a pup at that time. This meant a lot to
us, as we felt the concern of the puppy should come before the price
ticket! Secondly because we wanted a Blue APBT which is not as popular
here in the East (yours are beautiful). (We own a Barbershop that the
puppy would be spending the first 5-6 months of his life at, it was very
important to know the temperament of the parents, since he'd be around
lots of people. Children to adults)
Last
June we agreed that for our 2nd anniversary we wanted to add a puppy to
our household...(which consisted of 3 cats and an almost 2 year old
APBT/Boxer mix) We spoke with our vet, he had heard of OCP and spoke
good words about what he had heard.... He also said a buddy of his had
just born a litter of pit pups... However we had already spoken with
You, and you treated us as a long time friend, answering any questions,
also asking some pretty important ones of us... Like would we be able to
handle a dog of this size.
Fast
forward almost a year that Pikey has been a key member of our family. He has proven to be even more
mellow than our 2 year old. He listens well, and was actually quite
easy to train, he knows sit, lay down, drop it, and has never shown any
sort of aggressive behavior. Pikey is gentle with our Kitties, and
adores his older brother, "Stan". They enjoy running around on our 5
acres playing stick and keep away... He sleeps in his own bed after he
graduated from his crate and doesn't try to sneak in bed with us, he is a
sweet and loving boy. We would recommend OCP to anyone
who is looking for a loving and loyal addition to their household.
Here are 2 pictures, the first is a photoshoot of him with his "Mommy" and the other is from a
photoshoot for our joke Christmas card doing our portrayal of "American
Gothic"
Thank You so much for our "Little Pikey" we would be lost without his loving stares and kisses he gives us !
